property is located in a small development of cottages well away from the main highway with good vehicle
access, 30 minutes from Campbell River.B.C.

This cozy 750sqft lakefront cottage is close to the lakeshore,
approximately 10 to 15 feet above the water and is very comfortable and functional. It has been used as a full time
residence for many years so everything is operational and well maintained.

The cottage includes the following features:TV with DVD and VCR, 3-piece bath with cast-iron claw foot soaker tub, custom cherry wood kitchen cabinets and centre island, Bar-B-Q good quality propane appliances which includes an oversize fridge/freezer, a high-efficiency propane stacking washer and dryer, as well as a space heater. The cottage has 1 1/2 bedrooms, one queen, one twin and one queen sized futon bed. Other unique features include an attached exterior open air sleeping room or children's play area, a half-gazebo style structure with an outdoor bath and shower. Outside, there is a full-length covered deck across the back of the house with built-in storage lockers for an outside pantry. There are 2 decks, 12x12 and a 10x14 on each side of the cabin.

Hot water is supplied by a large capacity Bosch on-demand hot water system. There is a high-efficiency Vermont Castings wood stove.

Communication is via cell phone or there is a telephone approximately 2 Km away at Strathcona Park Lodge. Electricity is powered by a 3.5Kw Honda generator with an inverter and battery bank. It just takes a little getting used to the conservation of electricity. Domestic water comes from a community water system. Certainly more than your average cabin.

The stairs from the deck lead to a short path with a lakeside landing
with approximately 10 steps down to the lakeshore where there is a dock secured by anchors. Other features on the property include a detached storage/workshop plus generator shed and additional storage. Most of the property has been left in its natural state with some areas that have been developed into nice gardens.

The lake has great swimming, kayaking, fishing, & windsurfing, and the area has lots of trails for hiking, logging roads for off road activities, as well as access to other little lakes in the region to explore. A great place for relaxing. You must bring life jackets and children must wear life jackets while on the dock and must be supervised at all times.We do not permit firearms of any kind on the property for any reason, or
allow smoking (except in designated area.)

Pets: We are sorry we cannot accommodate guests pets.

 

RATES:

Based on double occupancy and maximum of 5 people.

May 1 - June 1. Saturday to Saturday $1200.-- per week

or $300.-- per night lake view

June 1 - Sept.1. Saturday to Saturday $1500.-- per week

or $300.-- per night

Sept. 1- Oct. 1. Saturday to Saturday $1200.-- per week

or $300.-- per night

Check-in Time: 4:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. Check-out Time: 11:00 A.M

Deposit: 50% of cost of stay is required within 7 days of booking, balance
due upon arrival.

Damage Deposit: $500.-- is held until day after leaving. This is not put
through your account unless there is damage.
